Undergraduate

A dedicated Undergraduate programme will take place at Ghent Pathology 2025.

The Undergraduate day will take place on Tuesday 24 June. The programme will focus on the theme "Diversity of Pathology," introducing undergraduates and junior doctors to the breadth of career opportunities within the specialty. Attendees will explore various career pathways, including becoming a pathologist, leadership as a principal investigator, research in neuropathology and entrepreneurship in pathology. The day will also feature participatory elements, such as a student oral presentation session and interactive clinical histopathology and anatomic pathology workshops, offering a comprehensive and engaging insight into the dynamic field of pathology.

In addition to the dedicated Undergraduate programme, the meeting will provide Undergraduate Students with the opportunity to connect with current histopathology residents, both UK-based and international, to meet national and international experts, to network and get some career advice, and to hear about the latest advances in the histopathology.

A social programme will also take place alongside the meeting, allowing attendees to network and make new connections in a fun and relaxed environment.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ghent Pathology 2025!
